Planning to celebrate Midsummer in the Fegen area?

Here you will find a complete guide to local Midsummer celebrations, featuring everything from traditional dancing around the maypole to music, community spirit, and a true summer atmosphere.

June 18

Yttra Berg, Gällared

Time: 6:00 PM–8:30 PM

Welcome to a shared evening where we decorate the Midsummer pole together with leaves and flowers in the courtyard in front of Aronsgården in Yttra Berg. Visitors are welcome to bring their own flowers for the pole. Gardening gloves and pruning shears may be useful.

Once the pole has been decorated, it will be inaugurated with traditional dancing around the maypole. Musicians are warmly invited to bring their instruments and contribute to the festive atmosphere.

Feel free to bring your own dinner or refreshments to enjoy afterward.

Parking is available approximately 200 meters from the courtyard.

June 19 – Midsummer Eve

Siggebergs Flea Market, Håcksvik

Time: 10:30 AM

Celebrate Midsummer in Håcksvik with music and dancing!

Feel free to bring your own picnic basket.

Kalv Family Camping

Time: From 11:00 AM

Midsummer celebration at the campsite.

The maypole will be decorated at 11:00 AM, and around 3:00 PM there will be dancing around the maypole accompanied by the Håska folk musicians.

Sjönevad

Time: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM

Welcome to a festive Midsummer celebration in Sjönevad.

Enjoy a day filled with traditions, music, and activities for the whole family. There will be dancing around the maypole, a Midsummer concert, pony rides, horse and carriage rides, a bouncy castle, and a prize wheel.

Admission: SEK 40. Children under 3 years enter free.

You can also enjoy a summer buffet, a waffle café, and coffee in a beautiful rural setting. A perfect Midsummer stop for both young and old!

Gunnagård, Ullared

Time: 11:00 AM–4:00 PM

Welcome to a wonderful Midsummer celebration for the whole family featuring traditional festivities, dancing around the maypole, folk music, games, and delicious refreshments.

The day also includes wreath-making, a lottery, pony rides, and a tractor safari. A charming event centered on Swedish Midsummer traditions, with free admission and activities for all ages.

Gekåsbyn, Ullared

Time: 12:00 PM

Enjoy a traditional and festive Midsummer celebration with music, activities, and community spirit for the whole family.

Bring your family and friends and enjoy a day filled with summer vibes, joy, and Swedish Midsummer traditions in a welcoming setting. The celebration is suitable for all ages and offers a wonderful opportunity to experience Midsummer together with other visitors.

Frank's Adventure Park, Älvsered

Time: 12:00 PM–6:00 PM

Welcome to an action-packed Midsummer celebration with activities for both children and adults.

Visitors can enjoy a maypole and traditional music, while children can take part in face painting and other fun surprises.

The park offers a kiosk and café, inflatable castles of various sizes, with and without water attractions. There will also be a motocross show and other artistic performances.

Expect laughter, games, candy showers, and Midsummer fun for the whole family.

Krogsered

Time: 2:00 PM

Welcome to a traditional Midsummer celebration at the volleyball court in Krogsered, organized by Krogsereds IK and the local heritage association.

Activities include a quiz walk, music, dancing around the maypole, a chocolate wheel, raffles, and other family-friendly activities.

The maypole will be decorated from 1:00 PM for anyone who would like to help. Feel free to bring your own picnic basket. The heritage association will serve Midsummer cake.

Mårdaklev Heritage Centre

Time: From 2:30 PM

Celebrate a traditional and cozy Midsummer at Mårdaklev Heritage Centre!

The maypole will be raised on Midsummer Eve at approximately 2:30 PM, followed by dancing and live folk music in a beautiful countryside setting.

The day also features a country store, a quiz walk, a bread lottery, and the opportunity to experience the new historical audio guide. Coffee and cake will be served after the celebration.

A classic Midsummer celebration for the whole family, focusing on tradition, togetherness, and the joy of summer.

June 20 – Midsummer Day

Frank's Adventure Park, Älvsered

Time: 12:00 PM–6:00 PM

Welcome to another action-packed day of Midsummer celebrations with activities for all ages.

Enjoy traditional music, the maypole, face painting, inflatable castles, a motocross show, artistic performances, games, candy showers, and plenty of Midsummer fun.

Sandvik

Time: 2:00 PM–4:00 PM

Welcome to a traditional Midsummer celebration with dancing around the maypole in Sandvik.

There will be ice cream for children, sausages, coffee, a chocolate wheel, a candy raffle, and a fishing game.
