Description

Ramsäng – Campsite in Lake Fegen

About Ramsäng

If you need a break after a day on the lake, why not stop at beautiful Ramsäng?

This campsite on the western side of the lake is a perfect paddling destination for beginners and is only accessible from the water. There is also a beach here where it is a bit calmer.

A perfect place for camping and grilling. On site you will find a firewood storage, a composting toilet, and two shelters: one traditional and one architect-designed.

Good to know

Our campsites can be reached on foot or via the waterway. Some of them can also be accessed by bicycle, but not by car – so plan your visit accordingly.

Several campsites have barrels for glass and cans as part of our work to improve waste sorting. Remember to always take care of your rubbish and leave the site in the same condition you would like to find it.

It is forbidden to cut down trees and branches.

Fires are only allowed in designated fire pits during the period 1 May–30 September. In all other places, lighting fires is prohibited. Note that fire bans may also apply to the entire nature reserve as well as areas around Kalvsjön, Lillån, Ätran and Stångån, depending on weather and current restrictions.

If you plan to stay overnight within the reserve, this must be done at designated campsites. Camping in other locations is not permitted.

A caretaker is present in the area, responsible for maintenance and ensuring that the campsites are kept in good condition.

Don’t forget your camping permit

To use the campsites, you need to purchase a camping permit. It can easily be bought online.

Income from camping permits is used for the maintenance and development of the campsites, such as firewood, toilets, and barbecue areas.

Additional information is available on-site at each campsite.

Thank you for helping

Sometimes the firewood may run out or the bins may become full. We appreciate if you let us know so we can fix it as soon as possible.
