Description

Nissanleden is a scenic hiking trail that follows the Nissan River between Smålandsstenar and Skeppshult. The trail is approximately 8 kilometres long and stretches from the power station at Ågårdsfors in the north to the illuminated exercise track in Skeppshult in the south. Along the way, you will walk through peaceful surroundings with close proximity to the water, lush greenery, and beautiful views of the river.

The trail is perfect for both a longer walk and a relaxing nature experience. As you hike, you follow the winding course of the Nissan River and have the opportunity to enjoy the tranquillity that characterises the area. With a little luck, you may also spot some of the local wildlife along the riverbanks.

At Svenshult, there is a picnic area with benches where you can take a break, enjoy the view of the Nissan River, or have a picnic before continuing your hike.
