Hiking trail Ätran - Långesjön, Hallandsleden

Campsite: Yes, there are shelters at both Eseredssjön and Långesjön camps, each beautifully situated by the lakes. These shelters can accommodate 4–6 adults and come with a fireplace, dry toilet, and a rubbish bin

Ätran - Långesjön Trail: The trail winds along on alternating sides of the road between Ätran and Drängsered. The environment here keeps changing between open countryside and forest. As you make your way, you'll pass several small lakes on your route to Långesjön.

Hallandsleden Trail – A Journey Through Halland

The Ätran - Långesjön stretch is part of the larger Hallandsleden Trail, a 400 km long hiking route that winds through the diverse and stunning landscapes of Halland County in southern Sweden. The trail starts in Helsingborg in the south and stretches all the way to Kungsbacka in the north, divided into 27 sections, each offering unique landscapes, from rugged coastal cliffs to serene lakes and dense forests. Along the way, hikers will pass through charming villages, protected nature reserves, and cultural sites that showcase Halland’s rich history. The Ätran - Långesjön section, with its scenic lakes, forests, and historical significance, is just one example of the diverse experiences the Hallandsleden Trail has to offer.
